New Railway Records on Ancestry

So I had an email from National Archives which advise me that they have the Railway workers records have been released on Ancestry.  My great grandfather worked on the railway in London prior to moving to Barry.

I had a search through these and managed to find a H.J. Cripps as a cleaner, which is his initial and job title.  However without knowing the full names of the people on the records I am unable to determine if this person is my great grandfather or not.  Need to do a bit more research into these.

I am currently working towards generation 2 and getting them organised.  The biggest portions of my family are nearly over with and looking forward to inputting the older generation and finding out where my weak spots are and where I need to do more research.

We are now in receipt of Robert’s Maxfield war medals.  I will get a pictures of them shortly and put them up.

Thats it for now.
